Invoices and authenticity reviews

Amazon may request sourcing documentation. In an Amazon staff response about an authenticity appeal, the staff member explains that email receipts may be insufficient and that supplier details, relevant products, and unaltered documents matter. Requirements vary by request. Read the exact notification in your Seller Central account; a wholesale invoice does not guarantee acceptance.

Dropshipping and arbitrage

Amazon permits dropshipping when its policy is met, including responsibility as the seller of record and for returns. Third-party identity on packaging or purchase documents can create policy problems. A sourcing method alone is not a promise of compliance or automatic suspension. Retail receipts may not meet a particular documentation request.

Funds after deactivation

Amazon’s published announcement describes withholding funds after deactivation to cover liabilities such as refunds, claims, and fees. It says a seller can request disbursement after 60 days; that is not a guarantee of release on day 60. Reviews and other conditions apply. We do not claim every account faces a six-to-twelve-month hold.
